In May 2024, I graduated from the University of Dayton and packed my bags for New Jersey to start my first corporate job. No friends, no family, just me, my laptop, and way too many DoorDash orders. And let me tell you the post-grad transition hit hard.

After way too many FaceTimes with friends feeling the exact same way, I realized we were all out here struggling in different but no one was really talking about it. So, I decided to change that. Enter: Post-Grad Girl. An inclusive and safe space for navigating this weird, exciting, messy stage of life together.

In May 2024, I graduated from Syracuse University and a couple months later, after an impulsive decision taken during the summer, I moved to NYC with no plan. I had a diploma, a suitcase and a dream. I truly couldn’t have planned it or gave it less thought if I tried, I felt so lost, I just knew I needed to take a leap.

When moving to the city I had to say goodbye to my family, my friends, and my comfort zone. I was struggling heavy but managing and figuring it out as I went. So, of course, when Isa posted her idea for Post-Grad Girl I was IN, I’ve never replied to a story faster in my LIFE. A community of girls navigating life post-graduation and lifting each other up in the process is exactly what I, and I know many others, needed. I’m so excited to be a part of this project and process, and even more excited to be a part of other girls’ process. We’re all in it together.
